- Is selling my gun or gun collection online legal?
- Yes. We Buy Guns is a federally licensed firearms dealer located in the state of Indiana. You, the seller, are covered under our license just as you would be if you walked into our physical location. There are no laws preventing you from selling your firearm to us.
- Is this service free?
- Yes. We will review your firearm and provide an offer based on current market values and it's current condition for free. If you choose to sell your firearm to us we will guide you through the entire process, handle all the paperwork for you and pay for shipping labels.
- How long are offers good for?
- Offers from We Buy Guns are valid for 14 days. If you have an offer that expires you are welcome to resubmit it at any time.
- Can I sell multiple firearms?
- Absolutely! Once firearm information has been submitted, you will have the ability to submit additional firearms for review and offers. These firearms will be viewable from your user panel, which you access from your initial offer email. If you have a gun collection or an estate, it's best to contact us directly (just to save you a lot of time).
- How do I get paid?
- We will either send you a check, or we will issue the funds via a secure ACH direct deposit. During the offer approval process, you will tell us which method of payment you prefer. View payment details
- Are there any types of firearms you do not make offers on?
- Yes. We do not purchase muzzle loaders/black powder firearms or firearms needing parts or extensive repair. We do not purchase firearms with obliterated or illegible serial numbers.
